16th Century Dual Italian Mace

By the 15th century armor was so developed that it was difficult to penetrate. These two heavy maces evolved from the club . man's original weapon. After a few hard blows . the best armor could be damaged and impair the wearer's movement and ensure defeat. Each mace has 8 flanges and are made from steel that has been blackened to a deep luster.
