| HUGUES DE PAYEN'S CRUADER SWORD | Hugues de Payens (c.1070-1136) was s French Knight the Champage region and was co-founder and first Grand Master of the Knights Templar. At the request of Pope Urban II, he organized the original nine monk-knights to defend pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land.
His handsome sword measures 44" overall and has a silver finish with a fleur de lis embossed on the handguard. The scabbard is black simulated leather with read leather wrapping.Length: 44"
