The famous William "Billy THE Kid" (1859-1881) owned and use this style .45 single action revolver with a 4.75" barrel throughout this criminal rampages in the Western frontier. The action on the replica of this classic revolver works like the original. The hammer cocks the cylinder rotates and the trigger pulls to drop the hammer. This replica has been accented with an antiqued finish and wooden grips. A miniature replica of a wanted poster offering $25 .000.00 reward for "The Kid's" capture accompanied the pistol. A brass pistol identification plaque is also on the display.
