Clearance - Saucy Wench Dress | Our Saucy Wench Dress has a bodice and attached skirt and is made of durable 100% cotton. The bodice is laced to fit with brass grommets, and the full skirt is split down the front to show a modest peek of underdress. | |  Chemise with Trim
The chemise is worn under all gowns, and bodice and skirts -- like a medieval slip. Chemises absorb the body's soils and leave less wear and tear on the outer garment which was usually more expensive. The chemise still does the same job today.
Ours are made from the same soft cotton muslin used to back baby quilts.
Machine washable, our chemises with a drawstring neckline have very full and long sleeves. One size.

Made of 100% pure silk. Delicate ruffles on the drawstring neckline, and full bell sleeves make an elegant, comfortable chemise. One size fits all.

Wear one, two or three - our 100% cotton petticoats are lightweight enough to be comfortable. During the Renaissance any woman who could afford more than one would flaunt it! The drawstring waist allows for fitting alone or over a chemise or other petticoats.
Chemise, overdress and/or bodice must be purchased separately.

| |  Gathered Skirts
The gathered skirts are made of soft cotton that mimicks the weave of linen without the expense.
A double set of lace holes in the back of the waistband allows for adjusting the fit should you lose or gain weight. The extra-high waistband is superior to elastic waistbands because it helps to keep the chemise or partlet tucked in all day. You'll never look disheveled. (41" length from waist to hem)
These skirts can be combined with other items available in our clothing department to produce different looks such as Country Wench, the Tavern Wench, Market Wench, Gypsy Wench, Apprentice Wench or Washing Wench.
Chemise and bodice must be purchased separately.

| | |  Florimel Knee Boot (Black)
The Lady Florimel are a feminine style boot made of black leather and are a medium width. They are surprisingly comfortable and give you a little lift through the 2 1/4"heel. Laces at back are a great new feature & these do not have a zipper which makes them more "period" appropriate. In addition to being worn upright these can also be "cuffed/folded" over to create a "bucket" as they are leather lined on the inside about 8" down the front center. It's always nice to have that option so that the boots remain versatile. These are true to size, but only come in whole sizes. Thus, if you are a 1/2 size ie 7.5 go up to the 8. If you wear a 9, order the 9....etc. If you are in doubt of your size, it's always better to go up than down.
