Male/Female Early Kilt

It wasn't until the 18th century that the colors and designs of plaids held a specific meaning. It was the higher classes who began to include extra colors in their plaids to exhibit their wealth. This became a method of communicating one's place in society. However . this soon grew out of fashion and wearers wore any plaid they desired. Originally . kilts were pleated on the floor before being tied around the waist.

To make this kilt easier to wear . we have already sewed in the pleats for you. This kilt will look genuine on both lads an lasses! Color is red/green(matches the Highland Dress or camel/navy. The early kilt is available in the following sizes: S(28"-30") M(32"-34") L(36"-39") XL(42"-44"). Dry clean only.
