It has a rear gusset for extra comfort! This style is made of durable leather that will soften & conform to your body over time. These are great for costuming SCA, LARP, medieval weddings, ren weddings, Wicca, pirates, etc. Toe is ""slightly pointed"" & less ""rounded"" than some of our other styles. Heel is only 1"". Boots are leather lined at cuff for ""cuffed"" option, shaft is slightly padded/lined with nylon. As stated earlier, these do have the upgraded feature of the rear gusset which makes them great for walking, lunging, etc. These are suprisingly comfortable and are great for long days at the ren faire.
