Made of cotton velveteen and lined in cotton this doublet is from Italian paintings by Caravaggio"The calling of St. Matthew"and"The Cardsharps."

The doublet shown in the photo has a red lining - the lapel and the inside of the sleeves. Each doublet's trim and lining will vary according to what the seamstress has in stock. If you have a request we can check her stock to see if we can honor it. If you have a demand you can get any lining and trim you'd like and the upcharge is $150.
