Late Roman Cavlary Helmet | Roman cavalry helmet of the late IVth and early Vth centuries. This model may have been introduced into the imperial army by mercenaries of north-eastern origin entering from the Danube region. Its main characteristic resides in its cape, being made of four elements riveted both to a frame and to a central crest, clear precursor of the early medieval "spangenhelm". Made entirely in handworked iron with leather linings. Fully wearable.
