Despite the adulation and reverence given to the sword, the spear was generally the weapon of choice for Vikings. Used as throwing weapons and as pikes, spears were an indispensable part of their daily routine. Each of these Viking Spears is hand forged of a tough, high carbon steel by Windlass Steelcrafts in India. Each spear head includes a 4 inch steel socket to fit our ash poles (not included). Long Spear - 9 inch long spear head is 2 inches wide and 3/16 inches thick. 14 inches overall. Wt.-1 lb.
