| Steel Mitten Gauntlet | Mitten gauntlets give a single protection for the fingers and seperate articulated thumb. This model was developed by the milanese armourers during the 15th century as an alternative to the articulated fingers gauntlet. The plain surfaces and the linear edges identify it as an "italian style" product, that is designed in the style of the lombard master armourers. Handcrafted in Italy of burnished steel and equipped with leather belts. It is fully wearable and weighs about 2.5 lbs. each.
