| Man at Arms Cuirass | This full cuirass, composed of a breastplate and a back for a complete protection of the torso. It is equipped with a fauld of steel hoops directly riveted on the breastplate lower edge and with two tassets fastened to this last with leather belts. Used by cavalrymen since the second half of the 15th century. The plain surfaces and the linear edges identify it as an "italian style" product, that is designed in the style of the lombard master armourers. Handcrafted in Italy of burnished steel and equipped with leather belts. It is fully wearable and weighs about 10 lbs.
