The sword also features the classic V-tip that made these weapons so good for thrusting. A sturdy rhomboid cross section gives this blade outstanding strength. The gladius that this was reproduced from was originally called the Pompeii Gladius. Pompeii being a Roman colony that was known for it's art . culture and innovation and was often called a Eutopia. Well . a Eutopia for a little while anyway.
