From the early B.C. Celts to well past the Renaissance, warriors figured out that a double wrap belt was a more comfortable way to carry a sword. But it was in Medieval times that the practice really flourished. When the extra length of belt wraps around a body the second time, both hips then support the weight of the sword. Besides the balanced suspension, this belt presents a swashbuckling appearance. Includes a frog hanger that will fit all scabbards. Made of beautiful top grade leather. These suede, calf-high boots are heroic in style, while at the same time, warm and comfortable. Lace-up front allows for a custom fit. The soles are hard like a dress shoe. The color is a deep chocolate brown.
We are finding that these run about a half-size small, so if you wear a 10 1/2, buy an 11.
