OverviewHandle for each hand-forged piece is given the traditional blacksmith's twist. Knife is capable of holding an edge. Approx. 8"long each overall. Wt.-8 oz. These utensils are forged then cold-quenched in an oil bath. The rapid cooling is what causes the surface flaking or scaling of the metal. Just use some steel wool and rub them down to get these flakes off. After each use hand-wash the utensils thoroughly then oil them with a food-safe oil (olive oil is a good choice) to keep them from rusting.
