| Erbach Sword | This sword rests in the Schloss Erbach Armoury and is a fine example of a high medieval/renaissance sword (classsified as an Oakeshott type XVIII A). This is truly a beautiful example of a bastard sword, effective in the cut and the thrust. The steel parts are highly decorative and the high carbon steel blade is lightly hollow ground, giving the sword a great feel with one or two hands. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts. Includes scabbard. Overall 431?4" Blade 34" long, 21?4" wide, 3?16" thick Wt.-3 lbs. Can be seen in Records Of The Medieval Sword by Ewart Oakeshott.
