Musketeer Rapier | The musket, though the prime weapon of the French Musketeer, was a cumbersome firearm, both to load and fire, so a good rapier was a necessary second weapon. The basket of this rapier's hilt is ambidextrous and a very effective mix of both the cup-hilt and swept-hilt style. The grip is wood wrapped with twisted wire and the parts of the hilt are plated with gleaming nickel silver. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®.

 | Main Gauche for Musketeer Rapier Carried at the back for a left hand draw, the main guache was often brought into play with the rapier for a two handed fighting style. The blade has cut-outs and notches to slow or disrupt an opponent's blade, while the hand was well-protected by the knuckle bow.
