Medieval Eating Bowl turned from solid hardwood. Our Notes: We are in the process of field-testing these with our children and the first thing we noticed was how lightweight they are. The kids should be able to carry these in their packs easily - even better when the toddlers get tired it should be a cinch for the grown-ups to carry both the kid AND the lightweight pack! LOL
