Roman Gladius Sword with Pompeii Style Blade

Another winning Generation 2 design. A classic Imperial Roman short sword . named for where an original was found in the ruins of Pompeii (reliably dating from 79 CE). Although the Pompeii blade is double edged . it does not have the distribution of mass to make it an efficient cutting sword. Our version features a full tang construction . high carbon blade . hard wood handle. High polished steel spacer at the bottom of the handle for strength and durability. A wood scabbard . wrapped in leather is included.
