Roman Sword with scabbard | Brown leather scabbard, brown wooden handle with brass fitting at the top, wooden pommel and guard. Total length 30". This sword is manufactured in India.
Used by the Roman "Gladiator" legions as early as 200 B.C. The blade of this gladius is 21 1/2" with an acute triangular point. The blades of these swords are made up of 'High Carbon Tempered Steel' - which makes them 'battle-ready'. Attractive hand made wooden handles in different colors having brass fittings at the bottom of the handle like the original one. A historic sword design that was used for a period of a thousand years!
