9th Century Saxon Sword

The Hanwei's smiths should be proud of their craftsmanship on this 9th Century Saxon sword. This sword features an incredible technique originally used by the Saxons and Vikings. This technique is made evident in the beautifully detailed blade featuring a pattern-welded core with high-carbon edge sections. Centuries ago this technique was employed to produce swords that were sharp . resilient and decorative. At the time . only rich folks could afford such swords but today . thanks to Hanwei . they are no longer just for the aristocracy! In 1976 a 9th century sword was found on the banks of a steam in England and today it sits in the Yorkshire Museum. This 9th Century Saxon Sword is based on the design of the discovered sword.
