Renaissance Style Swept Hilt Rapier

In 17th century Europe Rapier swordplay was an important part of a gentleman's education and often used as a method to settle disagreements between gentleman. Our Swept Hilt Rapies finds its origins in this time period. This model features a high-carbon steel blade and handsome solid steel (not plated) basket with an authentic bone grip. The piece is very well balanced. Included is a rigid leather-covered scabbard. The SH2117 is the matching main gauche for this piece.
