Adam Hsu Quandao

The Quandao is named after the great General Kwan Yu . its originator. The Quandao was traditionally used as a powerful military weapon and weighed over 100 lbs. Today . the Quandao has evolved into a 5 1/2 lbs. martial arts weapon. The blade is made of un-edged high-carbon steel. It features a distal taper for excellent balance. The Quandao includes an engraved dragon motif and attached to the hook is a traditional bell tassel. The wooden staff curtails in a quatrefoil pommel. A distinctive antique finish has been added to the blood cup and guard. This Quandao is lighter and better balanced than many weapons of its kind. Our Quandao is suited for the martial artist training training with this impressive weapon.
