This blade . the Raptor Shobu-Zukuri (Iris Leaf) . displays an elegant shape and has strong cutting ability. It is known for its absence of a Yokote transition. The blade first became popular in the Nanbokucho era (1336 ~1392 AD) and its popularity continued into the Muromachi period.
