These deerskin pouches are unlined with a scalloped-cut top. They are 4 1/2" wide and about 6" deep (the usable area is about 4 1/2"). Pictured in Tan Color.

These are made of natural deerskin from domestic deer and made here in the U.S. The scratches and wrinkles on the surface are not imperfections, but are features of natural deerskin that enhance its beauty. Deerskin is extremely strong, but still soft and flexible. Unlike cowhide, deerskin will stretch width-wise and very little stretch length-wise. This means that you can stuff the pouch and it will expand, but it won't stretch or become floppy afterward. Deerskin's fibers give it an extremely high strength and abrasion resistance so your pouch will last a long time with proper care. Deerskin does not shrink or become stiff after getting wet, which means that whenever your deerskin gets dirty (or you get caught in a downpour), it can be hand-washed and gently dried and it will stay soft and supple.
