Roman Pilum

Traditionally . the Roman trooper carried at least one Pilum or throwing spear a weapon. This feature was intrinsic to Roman combat tactics as was the short sword. For convinience and easy transport . the Pilum is of the traditional flanged type and may be disassembled.
